GENERAL FUNCTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Threat Intelligence team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of identifying, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence to protect our organization from emerging cyber threats. The Threat Intelligence team’s mission is clear:
To gather, analyze, and clearly disseminate actionable intelligence to the right teams, in the right way, at the right time. We serve as the eyes and ears of the security organization, transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive proactive defense strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Continuously monitor a wide range of sources including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web forums, threat feeds, social media, and closed communities for emerging threats and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Conduct deep-dive research, monitoring, and analysis into threats, threat actors, campaigns, malware families, and attack techniques.
• Create relationships and collaborate with external partners through sharing groups and security community groups.
• Develop and maintain threat actor profiles, TTP mappings, and threat landscape assessments.
• Collaborate with incident response, SOC, vulnerability management, and other security teams to ensure intelligence is actionable and integrated into defensive operations.
• Contribute to detection opportunities, the development of detection logic, threat models, and strategic threat assessments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, Kill Chain).
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), SIEMs, and OSINT tools.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis and automation.
• Experience working in a SOC conducting alert triage and detection creation & tuning.
