Job Description

The Logistics Security Coordinator supports the efficient and timely movement of goods worldwide.  Interfaces with internal and external customers, freight forwarders, and other functional areas to ensure security and logistics coordination of shipments. This position is responsible for supporting the execution of a global in-transit visibility security program, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build customer relationship and provide excellent customer service, understanding their needs and goals 
• Identify and address issues that may impact customer satisfaction and work on solutions to improve the overall customer experience
• Monitor and manage ticketing system for requests and resolve according to SLO
• Manage the IoT Security program while overseeing the safe and timely delivery of all freight as it moves through the supply chain network, report on and escalate incidents through established communications protocols
• Tracking & monitoring security related metrics ensuring to meet KPIs and OKRs as agreed to with the client SLA, i.e OTIF
• Respond to, document and track security incident
• Escalate risks/delays associated to security program when required
• Drive quarterly initiatives; work through challenges, report progress and manage project risks
• Conduct security audits and assessments
• Coordinate and collaborate on security related projects  with multiple parties including customer stakeholders, warehouses, carriers, service providers onsite team members to resolve any issues that may arise
• Identify and suggest corrective actions for ongoing incidents, security  issues, opportunities and SOPs
• Stay up to date with the best practices in supply chain, techniques and best practices and proactively apply new knowledge to improve processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
• 1-2 years experience in security, supply chain, logistics and or transportation (preferred)
• Knowledge of security related transportation methodology & tracking to include IoT sensors technology, functionality and utilization of best practices
• Risk sensitive, recognizes when problems arise or are likely to arise
• Effective communication skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self-starter with the ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

REQUIREMENTS:

• English language written/spoken proficiency required
• 11am - 8pm & 8pm - 5am night shift required
• Reports onsite to Hyderabad location 5 days per week
