How you’ll make an impact

As a Senior Cloud Security Architect at AMP, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding our digital future, playing a crucial role in protecting our customers' financial well-being and our company's assets. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our security landscape, ensuring that we're not just reactive, but proactively addressing the ever-evolving cyber threats in the financial sector.

Day-to-day, you'll be the driving force behind our Secure By Design process. You'll work closely with business and IT teams, translating complex business requirements into robust security controls that enable innovation while managing risk. Your designs will be the invisible shield protecting millions of customers' sensitive financial data.

As a thought leader in security architecture, you'll have the opportunity to influence and educate stakeholders across AMP where you will empower teams to make informed decisions about security controls, fostering a culture of security awareness that permeates every level. In this role, you won't just be implementing security measures – you'll be architecting trust. Your contributions will be pivotal in enabling AMP to innovate and grow securely, ultimately helping us fulfill our purpose of helping people create their tomorrow. Your expertise will be the foundation upon which we build a more secure, resilient, and customer-focused financial services organisation.

What you will bring to the team

You'll bring a wealth of experience to our team where your deep expertise in cloud security (AWS) will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our digital platforms. Your background in regulated environments, particularly in financial services, means you'll hit the ground running with a solid understanding of our industry's unique challenges and regulatory landscape.

Your passion for information security will be infectious, inspiring those around you to prioritise and innovate in this critical area. Your collaborative approach and ability to build trust will be key in advancing security awareness throughout AMP. Most importantly, you'll bring a relentless focus on execution and a drive for excellence. Your experience with APRA CPS234 will be particularly valuable as we continue to strengthen our regulatory compliance.
