The Identity & Access Management Governance Analyst is responsible for ensuring effective governance, compliance, and oversight of identity and access management processes and tools within the bank. This includes enforcing IAM policies, conducting user access reviews, supporting audits, and working closely with stakeholders across business units to maintain secure, efficient, and compliant access to systems and data.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer and govern identity and access policies, standards, and procedures across the bank’s platforms.
- Lead and participate in periodic user access reviews, recertifications, and attestations to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements (e.g., SOX, FFIEC).
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IAM governance processes and controls.
- Monitor and analyze access control metrics, identify gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT, compliance, audit, and business units to investigate and resolve access issues and anomalies.
- Review and validate segregation of duties (SoD) and least privilege principles in user access.
- Maintain IAM governance documentation including roles, entitlements, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in IAM-related audits and risk assessments, providing evidence and mitigation plans as needed.
- Participate in IAM projects including onboarding new applications into the IAM ecosystem.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to IAM governance.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of IGA tools or platforms.
- Other job-related projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, IT security, risk, or compliance in the financial services or banking industry.
- Proven experience with access certification, role management, and entitlement reviews.
- Experience with audit support and regulatory compliance in a financial environment.
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or IAM-specific certifications (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta) preferred.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, tools, and frameworks (e.g., RBAC, ABAC, SoD).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards impacting the financial industry (e.g., FFIEC, OCC, GLBA, SOX, NIST).
- Familiarity with IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD, or similar platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively collaborate with internal departments, third parties, and auditors.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking with a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities required.
