ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team in Clarksburg WV.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructure that includes routing protocols BGP EIGRP and ISPF, VPNs Web Proxy and XML gateway for enterprise web services.

• Implementing, diagnosing, and repairing network issues.

• Developing networks and coordinating with team members to identify network needs.

• Analyze user needs and develop solutions; aid employees and other individuals on how to maintain the network effectively.

• Establishing, developing, and maintaining computer networks between organizations utilizing existing infrastructure.

• Maintain network security ensuring that network data remains secure.

• Proficiency in both networking and cybersecurity technologies and protocols; experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux or Unix base operating systems.

Minimum Qualifications:        

• Bachelor's degree (in field mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science) or equivalent; 7 years' experience with bachelor's in computer science or related field degree, 10 years' experience with associate's in computer science or related field degree, 13 years' experience without a bachelor's in computer science or related field degree.

• 3+ years of total experience with 2 years of current experience in supporting and troubleshooting various computing devices and operating systems.

• Knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers and experience with ALG (RTP, RTSP, and FTP, DNS, HTTP), DHCP.

• Proficiency in both networking and cybersecurity technologies and protocols.

• Experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux or Unix base operating systems.

• Experience working in an Agile organization SAFe.

• Shift: Day, with possible after hour and/or weekend on call duties that usually rotate among staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A+ certification.

• Security+ certification.

• CASP or CCCA certification.                                                                                                                         

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active Top-Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

• Constantly operates a computer.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
