Job Description & Summary  

We are seeking an experienced Data Security Consultant with expertise in using BigID to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data privacy and governance, with a proven track record of implementing privacy programs and optimizing data discovery processes. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

• Lead and manage data privacy projects, utilizing the BigID solution for data discovery, classification, and remediation. 

• Implement end-to-end consent and preference management solutions, including the creation of preference centers within platforms like OneTrust. 

• Conduct workshops and strategize the implementation of sensitive data discovery by scanning extensive data sources for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) using BigID. 

• Prepare documentation and presentations on BigID data classification, data retention, Record of Processing Activities (RoPA), and Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) for clients. 

• Formulate plans, prepare questionnaires, and conduct stakeholder workshops for RoPA management, data retention, and data deletion. 

• Develop templates and provide demonstrations to technical stakeholders and Data Privacy Officers (DPOs) on BigID functionalities. 

• Bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders, including Data Information Security Officers (DISOs), Data Owners, and Program Leads. 

• Respond to Data Privacy Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contribute to the development of privacy solutions and frameworks. 

 

Mandatory Skill Sets: 

• BigID Expertise: 

• Proficiency in using BigID for data discovery, classification, and remediation. 

• Certifications in BigID: Associate Biz User, Associate Operator, Master Operator, Master Privacy Biz User, Expert Course. 

• Privacy Management Tools: 

• Experience with privacy management platforms like OneTrust. 

• Privacy Regulations Knowledge: 

• Strong understanding of global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CPRA, and HIPAA. 

• Project Management: 

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects within scope, time, and budget. 

• Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders effectively. 

• Data Privacy Solutions Development: 

• Ability to respond to Data Privacy Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contribute to the development of privacy solutions and frameworks. 

• Technical Skills: 

• Proficiency in SQL, JIRA, and MS Visio. 

 

 

Preferred Skill Sets: 

• Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) or equivalent certification. 

• OneTrust Trust Fellow 

• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals & Azure AI Fundamentals. 

• Project Management: Foundations certification from LinkedIn.
