About the role
Working closely with external security partners and internal teams, our Security Analysts play a crucial role in safeguarding Estia Health’s information systems from cyber threats.
As well as managing real-time monitoring and security alert triage systems, you’ll also have the opportunity to work on various project initiatives to implement new security technologies.
What you’ll do
- Working with the wider security team, you’ll help ensure controls are implemented, monitored and risks are managed appropriately
- Ensure cyber risks are addressed and triage cyber events/alerts with appropriate incident responses
- Contribute to the development of incident response procedures and assist in designing and implementing cyber security controls
- Regular cyber reporting and identifying current and emerging technology issues
- Get involved in security improvement projects and provide subject matter expertise
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in cyber security, or a similar role, with proficiency in cyber threats, attack vectors, event analysis and incident response
- A desire to be part of a collaborative team, strong communication skills and dedication to continuous improvement and personal growth
- Strong trouble shooting skills in Windows operating systems and an analytical, proactive mindset
- Ability to navigate and understand complex system architectures, integrations and security controls
- Experience with CrowdStrike, Rapid 7 IDR (SIEM), Okta, Proofpoint and any cyber security certifications such as COMPTIA Security+ or equivalent is advantageous
We have one permanent position and one 3–6-month fixed term contract on offer. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days based out of our Central Services VIC office.
