What We DoWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PKI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate management, with a specialization in CyberArk Certificate Management (formerly known as Venafi TLS) and DigiCert. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge security technologies and contribute to the protection of our digital assets.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the lifecycle management of certificates using Venafi and DigiCert platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex PKI-related issues.
  • Regularly interacts with senior management and peers in other departments for purposes of gaining cooperation, exchanging technical information, and presenting project plans and reports.
  • Considers the business implications of certificate work flows and processes for the current business environment.
  • Identifies problems, researches alternatives, prepares presentations, drives solutions, tests to confirm, gains consensus, and implements solutions for multiple processes within multiple functions.
  • Keeps abreast of industry advancements and incorporates that knowledge into daily work activities.
  • Lead evaluations and assessments for any proposed technology solution.
  • May be required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.

What You'll Bring

Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used

  • Experience working with distributed team.
  • Strong understanding of application security patterns and associated best practices.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with cloud security concepts including technology, best practices, design, deployment, and operations.
  • Understanding network security implementations, including their function and placement in a network.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with public cloud security in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Successful track record of designing, developing, and managing the execution of projects in the cloud and/or security space.
  • Ability to develop and implement processes to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and between departments.
  • Deals with others in an honest manner, assures adherence to company policies, addresses questionable business practices.
  • Provides others with reliable information, creates, and delivers accurate reports and presentations. Uses good listening skills. Negotiates effectively.
  • Ability to convey technical and conceptual ideas/topics to non-technical personnel.
  • Presentation skills
  • Strong organizational or Project Management skills
  • Solid understanding of scripting and programming languages as well as software development methodologies
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically have 10+ years of directly related experience.
  • Certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Certified Professional), SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Management), CCNA, CCNP, MSCE preferred.

Salary Range: $109,700.00 - $146,200.00

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
