As a IT Security Consultant, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing our IT security infrastructure. You'll be at the forefront of incident response, vulnerability management, and audit process, ensuring our digital assets remain secure and operational.
What will you do?
- Collect raw data from track leads.
- Compile and filter data for password expiry, last login, and deleted/new accounts.
- Track open items, request SR tickets, and notify leads of pending actions.
- Gather approved Role Matrix and Cover Page documents from leads.
- Collect evidence screenshots and relevant email approvals.
- Compile and upload all documents to SharePoint for submission.
- Communicate flagged CVEs to respective teams.
- Track mitigation progress and ensure closure before SLA breaches.
- Generate scan data from Tenable, segregate Prod/QAT environments.
- Assign vulnerabilities to appropriate teams.
- Upload reports to SharePoint and coordinate remediation inputs.
- Summarize findings for review and manage RA collection for unmitigated issues.
- Support regular log review activities as per compliance and audit requirements.
- Work closely with auditors to coordinate audit testing and walkthroughs.
- Prepare, review, and submit required audit documentation.
- Ensure communications with auditors are tracked and aligned with manager/supervisor.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong understanding of IT security operations.
- Experience in vulnerability management and audit processes.
- Proficiency with Excel, Tenable, and SharePoint.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and under tight deadlines.
