- Lead and manage the controls cybersecurity team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure professional growth and skill development.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top cybersecurity talent.
- Establish a strategic framework for the creation and implementation of product solutions that enable GE Vernova Gas Power to meet global cybersecurity standards.
- Conduct ongoing analysis and monitoring to identify cybersecurity process gaps and collaborate with product lines to formulate strategic plans aimed at closing these gaps through the deployment of products and comprehensive documentation.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across GE Vernova to integrate cybersecurity best practices into all aspects of the organization while leveraging best practices.
- Drive the development and execution of cybersecurity initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate cybersecurity strategies and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Identify, develop, evaluate, and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long-range engineering needs for the development and sustainment of cybersecurity practices within GE Vernova controls.
- Collaborate with product line in the development of strategies and investment plans for enhancing GE Vernova’s cybersecurity posture.
- Maintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art cybersecurity solutions in order to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costs.
- Be a Helpful resource to all levels of engineering team and encourage dialogue between all groups
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar degree.
- 8 years of experience in an engineering capacity
- 4 years experience working in an OT cybersecurity related role
Desired Characteristics
- Experience leading a global team
- Experience with Mark VIe control systems
- Knowledge of the GE Vernova Gas Power Controls NPI processes
- Experience with global cybersecurity regulations as they relate to the power generation industry
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market and manage programs that further the knowledge, understanding and capability of the business
- Problem analysis and resolution skills
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $152,400.00 - 254,000.00 per year. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 6/4/25.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
