ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer- oriented Task Order Lead to join our team in Herndon, VA.
 

This position requires occasion travel to McLean, VA based on customer needs. Lead a team of Cyber Operations experts and help to protect the most coveted target in the world.
 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Continuously evaluating, shaping, and making any necessary changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Incident Response program.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure coverage for 24x7x365 SOC, as well as cyber threat hunting, detection engineering, tactical engineering, and Cloud Incident Response.
  • Manage Contractor work force efforts based on any changing mission requirements and finding availability - to include potential for responding to crisis and/or surge events.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and maintaining task performance metrics that measure the execution of all business and operational activities for personnel assigned to the TO.
  • Participating in scheduled Program Management Reviews (PMRs); and providing the Government with Monthly Contract Status Reports (MCSRs), and other ad hoc reports on behalf of the TO.
  • Managing and monitoring the cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, materials, security, deliverables, quality, and metric objectives and milestones for the TO.
  • Collaborating with mission partners to maximize tools and capabilities, providing technical/analytical recommendations for improvement to the CIRT program of record.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years’ experience in cybersecurity or High School Diploma and 14+ years’ experience
  • 5+ years’ experience managing large, classified, cyber security contracts for the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experience with network defense operations, SIEM tools, SOAR tools, EDR tools or IDS tools
  • Experience with 24x7x365 SOC operations
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cyber security certification from an industry-recognized organization such as (ISC)2 or SANS
  • Certified Cyber Security Service Provider Manager in accordance with DOD 8570 baseline certifications. Prefer one or more of the following certifications: Cyber Incident Handler, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Project Management Profession (PMP) certified
     

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
     

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
