As an Associate IAM Engineer, you will be exposed to a wide variety of systems, environments and industries. You will work closely with our team of security and privacy professionals to assess client needs, develop tailored solutions, and implement effective cybersecurity measures. A strong technical background, including familiarity with scripting languages, REST Services, query development, and logical design concepts, is essential.

While experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) is beneficial, we are also open to candidates with a strong technical foundation and a keen interest in learning about IAM solutions. The successful candidate will be a team player who is eager to learn and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional cybersecurity services.   • Solve complex problems presented in client’s engagements by addressing complex identity governance and security challenges.
  • Manage risk through understanding business and technology risks and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze technical challenges by identifying and researching technology and security issues.
  • Support cybersecurity leaders by helping them develop strategies and achieve success in their security programs.

Responsibilities:

Participation in the hands-on technical implementation of IAM solutions:

  • Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity)
  • Access Management (AM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity)
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools (e.g., CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Configure and customize IAM products to meet specific client requirements, including workflows, policies, connectors, and integrations.
  • Assist with the integration of IAM solutions with various enterprise applications, directories (LDAP, Active Directory), and cloud services
  • Conduct thorough testing of implemented solutions, identify and troubleshoot issues, and ensure the quality and stability of the IAM environment.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, test plans, and operational procedures.
  • Provide support for implemented IAM solutions, assisting with incident resolution and problem management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Preferred)
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or Java for automation and customization.
  • Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, Entra) and their integration with IAM solutions.
  • Understanding of web services (REST, SOAP), APIs, and integration protocols.
  • Personable, an out of the box thinker who is willing to constantly challenge themselves and bring a diverse perspective to the conversation.
  • The ability to interpret and convey technical information through written and oral communications to all levels of technical aptitude, including senior management.
  • Technical background in computer science and related fields

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Okta Certified Professional, SailPoint Identity Security Engineer).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with common cloud platforms such as: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.
  • Awareness of Identity and access managed tools such as: AuthO, SailPoint, Okta, Saviynt, Ping, Thycotic, Beyond Trust, Centrify, etc.
  • Knowledge of authentication methods (e.g., passwords, biometrics, multi-factor authentication)
  • Understanding of authorization and access control principles
  • Familiarity with single sign-on (SSO) solutions
