Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to manage implementation of information assurance, cyber, and program protection requirements to our client’s cybersecurity standards/policies and address cyber vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
- Coordinate with IT staff to ensure that security measures are integrated into system designs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
- Provide training and support on security protocols to staff.
- Prepare and present security status reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage security tools and technologies, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulators.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Here is what you need:
- 3 years of experience as a cyber security professional
- 2 years of experience with assessment and accreditation of a national security system (NSS)
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- IAT II certification required which would include any of the following:
- CCNA Security
- CySA+
- GICSP
- GSEC
- Security+ CE
- SSCP
Preferred to have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience supporting the accreditation of cloud based systems (AWS preferred)
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance is required

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
