Role: Cloud Security Architect (AWS).

Location: Remote, Portugal.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar areas;
• Min. 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect;
• Proven ability to create AWS-based system architectures with a strong focus on security;
• Experience in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures (mandatory);
• Proven ability to conduct security audits and risk assessments (mandatory);
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks - e.g.:, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA (mandatory);
• Ability to apply security principles (e.g., least privilege, zero trust); 
• Experience configuring and implementing AWS security services such as IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.;
• Ability to automate security policies using tools like AWS Config and CloudFormation;
• Experience working with development and DevOps teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps);
• Ability to perform architecture and code reviews with a security focus;
• Proactive in proposing and implementing continuous improvements to security policies and practices;
• AWS Certified Security Specialty certification (or equivalent) is strongly preferred;
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail;
• Analytic professional, with critical thinking;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
