What You'll Contribute

The Senior Manager, Technology Audit lead and manage the technology audit function, assess risks, conduct audits, and provide recommendations to enhance controls and mitigate technology-related risks.
 

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a risk-based technology audit plan that aligns with organizational goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and evaluate technology-related risks, including cybersecurity, data privacy, IT governance, and emerging technologies.

• Lead in technology audits, including conducting interviews, reviewing documentation, and performing testing and analysis. Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls, identify control deficiencies, and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Offer practical recommendations to address control deficiencies, mitigate risks, and strengthen technology controls.

• Assess the organization's technology governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technology audit processes.

What you have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

• Strong knowledge of technology systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data privacy, IT governance, and related risks.

• Proficiency in audit methodologies, control frameworks (e.g., COSO), and relevant industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess complex technology environments.

• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

• Leadership abilities, including experience in managing and mentoring a team of audit professionals.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple audits concurrently, and meet deadlines.

Preferred education, skills, and experience.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.

• Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent.

• 6+ years of experience in technology audit, IT risk management, or related roles, with a focus on technology controls and governance.
