The Challenge:
The Senior Threat Analyst will join the T2 Global Physical Security team to help lead critical efforts across the Threat Assessment and Investigations pillars. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Global Security Operations and Intelligence, this role will be instrumental in handling the intake, triage, and resolution of security incidents, behavioral threats, and investigations. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day investigations, develop training programs, and implement structured threat assessment methodologies to mitigate risks effectively across the organization. They will also perform other duties as assigned, including backfill of the security intelligence function as necessary. The successful candidate will have the soft-skills necessary to establish credibility with and effectively influence a wide-range of internal partners including senior leadership stakeholders.
What You’ll Take On:
Threat Assessment & Investigations:
- Perform the intake, triage, and ongoing assessments for individuals of concern using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Schedule weekly threat assessment team meetings, helping to organize and foster collaboration among team members and key stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and maintaining processes for threat management, including structured intake, evaluation, mitigation, and documentation.
- Conduct and/or coordinate OSINT investigations of individuals of concern utilizing a range of techniques, tools, vendors, and internal teams.
- Conduct and document security incident investigations, delivering actionable insights to mitigate risks effectively.
Training & Program Development:
- Design and deliver workplace violence prevention training programs including our Safe and Respectful Workplace, Gatekeeper, and Trust and Safety threat initiatives.
- Develop awareness materials to enhance stakeholder understanding of security protocols and threat mitigation strategies.
Collaboration & Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, Workplace Services, and our creative labels, to address security risks.
- Coordinate and develop GSOC standard operations procedures to support the Threat Assessment and Investigations programs.
- Support other security pillars, including Supply Chain Security, Travel Security, and Incident Management/Crisis Response, as needed.
- Develop and maintain a network of security and threat assessment professionals in other organizations such as OSAC, DSAC, AIRIP, and ATAP, among others, for benchmarking and continuous learning.
Technology & Tools:
- Partner with our vendors to continuously drive improvements in products essential to our success.
- Maintain proficiency with intelligence tools, behavioral assessment methodologies, and our case management platforms, such as CTAP-25, SIGMA, and WAVR-21.
- Leverage technology to enhance investigative and threat assessment capabilities.
Program Oversight & Budget Management:
- Assist in handling security-related projects with budgets of up to $200,000.
- Flag resource needs, develop persuasive cases for resource requests, while ensuring alignment with program and organizational objectives.
What You Bring:
Experience:
- 5+ years of corporate experience in threat assessment and investigations.
- Physical security operations experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise with OSINT research tools and methodologies.
- Consistent track record of handling and conducting investigations and/or assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified Threat Manager (CTM) certification and ATAP membership are highly desirable.
- Additional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) are a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and concise written reporting.
- Collaborative mindset, with a shown ability to build relationships and work across diverse teams.
- Good judgment coupled with ability to escalate challenges and ask for help, when needed.
- High ethical standards and discretion, with the ability to manage sensitive information professionally.
- High self-awareness, ability to “read the room”, and willingness to feedback.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency with intelligence platforms, mass communication tools, and case management software. Knowledge of behavioral assessment methodologies and structured judgment tools.
- Basic understanding of database management.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,200 and $118,660 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
