As the Senior IAM Application Operations Engineer, you will support and resolve identity and access-related issues, while analysing, simplifying, and improving our security processes. About the team

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, Application Operations is the team responsible for running L2 support (diagnosis and in-depth issue resolution) for part of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) application landscape. We're looking for a colleague who'll help us to improve our processes and services via diligent analysis and ensure our security agenda is properly followed. 
 

In your role, you will… 

  • Provide L2 tier support (diagnosis and in-depth issue resolution) for incidents and events related to IAM tools/solutions 
  • Troubleshoot and support users for their identity and access-related issues 
  • Identify patterns of tickets and drive problem management activities to eliminate unnecessary tickets, drive automation and improve operational ticket flows 
  • Improve and maintain the operational documentation and knowledge base 
  • Collaborate with other security teams such as operations and L3 support teams 
  • Have a chance to apply your technical expertise to implement efficiencies and automations 
  • Participate in global projects and act as a point of contact in given areas 

 

Your qualifications

What we need from you 

  • Experience in security solutions and/or IT delivery environment as well as end-user support 
  • Experience in supporting security technologies, preferably SailPoint IIQ or ISC 
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases, database schemas, and data structures
  • Knowledge of SQL 
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Independence and responsiveness in character and work 
  • Willingness to provide support outside of normal business hours if really needed 

 
Nice-to-have 

  • Experience with programming and Microsoft Power BI 
  • Understanding of federation protocols and security concepts 
  • ITIL knowledge certification is a plus (Foundation)

For Spain the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 42.000] and [EUR 70.000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: 
  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
  In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognize your achievements.
