Water Utility Cyber Security Professional

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Cyber Security Analyst Expert you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Cyber Security Analyst Expert joining our team to conduct cybersecurity evaluations of drinking water and wastewater utilities.
HOW A CYBER SECURITY ANALYST EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Conduct cybersecurity evaluations of water and wastewater utilities and develop related assessment reports and initial risk mitigation plans.
- Assess and develop presentation documents for combined metrics for participating utilities.
- Develop cybersecurity evaluation metrics reports.
- Identify internet-exposed and vulnerable Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) assets at drinking water and wastewater systems and provide recommendations for mitigations.
- Present vulnerability identification key findings and recommended mitigations both in reports and in meetings with members of the water and wastewater sector.
- Develop cybersecurity alerts for the water and wastewater sector that includes vulnerabilities identified.
- Work with water sector OT subject matter experts to provide cybersecurity technical assistance to water and wastewater utilities.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: College degree in cybersecurity and cybersecurity certifications that demonstrate working and functional knowledge of the field.
● Required Experience: 8-10+ years of related experience
Skills and Abilities:
● Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of audiences in both written and spoken formats.
● Ability to manage and track data.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
● Excellent customer service skills.
● 10 years of cybersecurity experience.
● Water and wastewater sector experience preferred.
