About the Job

Ready to take the next step in your career? We might have just the opportunity for you! As we continue to strengthen our team, we’re looking for a dedicated professional to join Saxo Bank as a Third-Party Security and Compliance Specialist - a pivotal role within our Digital Resilience & Trust Department.

Our Digital Resilience & Trust Department consists of several teams, with over 40 colleagues, where our mission is to safeguard our clients and the Saxo from cyber threats and data breaches, ensuring compliance with overarching regulations, conducting assurance reviews and delivering strategic and operation level resilience.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in safeguarding and scaling the operational resilience of our organization’s assets. Your day-to-day will span a wide range of responsibilities - from evaluating the criticality tiering of new vendors and conducting risk assessments, providing actionable recommendations and ensuring follow-through on security enhancements.

You’ll also gather insights across teams and stakeholders, prepare executive-level slide decks, and oversee vendor compliance in areas such as AML, sanctions, and financial crime monitoring. Ensuring alignment with key regulations like DORA, GDPR, and others will be central to your work. Ultimately, you’ll help ensure that our global third-party vendor landscape consistently meets our stringent security and compliance standards.

The role is based in Saxo HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities

As our new Third-Party Security and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with DORA, GDPR, and other applicable regulations. You will identify and evaluate potential risks associated with vendor relationships, with a strong focus on security, data protection, privacy, anti-money laundering (AML), financial crimes, and sanctions screening. Your work will be critical in safeguarding our operations and maintaining the integrity of our external partnerships.

Further you will:

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and enhance overall security posture.

  • Monitor and report on vendor security performance, ensuring alignment with internal security policies and standards.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards, fostering a culture of proactive risk management.

  • Provide detailed reports and insights on compliance performance, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Be up-to-speed with sharp eye to produce executive level presentations for management.

Your Profile

We are looking for a determined, detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong analytical skills. We expect you to come with a can-do attitude, solution mode approach and passion to improve efficiency and collaboration.

  • University degree (at minimum BSc, preferably MSc).

  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and having a strong understanding of risk management principles,

  • Experience in taking ownership and responsibility to get across the finish line,

  • You base your conclusions on facts & figures, instead of opinion exchange,

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation building (e.g. consultancy style),

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines.

In terms of hard skills, you should have a background in cybersecurity, legal, information technology, consultancy, or a related field. Prior experience in vendor risk assessment or a similar role is highly desirable. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, for example ISO 27001, GDPR, regulatory requirements related to third-party risk management like DORA, is essential.

If you do not tick all skills yet have matching experience and value-add to bring, do apply, we are always looking for options to let you showcase the best of you within our diverse team.

Application deadline is 24th of June 2025. We will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis.
