Cybersecurity Manager

Key Role:  

Maintain responsibility for planning and managing a large IT Cyber Defense Operations program, including ensuring product delivery, quality, and cost goals are met. Lead and manage a multi-functional team responsible for the design, engineering, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, review, and administration of the complex infrastructure, hardware, and software required to manage the security and risk posture of networks and resources effectively. Ensure the appropriate usage of security products and technologies to protect the organization’s systems and information and enable achievement of the organization’s objectives. Manage and design the innovative integration of Cybersecurity toolsets to enable more automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities as a means of improving the security posture while reducing manpower requirements. Oversee the analysis of emerging technologies and design and build architectures and solutions to enable the secure implementation of new technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with all phases of Information Assurance (IA) and accreditation processes, securing IT systems and services using Government and industry IA standards, policies, and guidelines

• 5+ years of experience managing and leading a security operations team

• 5+ years of experience managing information security risks, including completing the entire Access and Authorize (A&A) process and receiving Authority to Operate (ATO) for the cloud

• Top Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• DoD 8140 DCWF Advanced Level Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with encryption devices and procedures as they relate to networks and data

• 5+ years of experience with Federal governance, risk, and compliance management

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

• ITIL V4 Master Level Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
