CACI is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). 

Key Responsibilities  

Network Engineer - Senior:  

  • Supports all enterprise JDOC services, to include Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) services, defensive cyber operations, configuration management, software library, scan and compliance tools, network common operational picture, Tier 3 CSSP, Tier 1 call center/service desk, firewall O&M, monitoring solution, and log management solutions 
  • Supports EIE services, DoDIN services, and/or IT enabling services, as directed 

  • Provides advanced troubleshooting and support to all IT systems throughout the DAO  

  • Supports designing, building, configuring, securing, operating, maintaining, and sustaining the networks that are part of the EIE 

  • Configures and supports LAN, WAN, and network systems  

  • Provides extensive experience in technologies and skills such as DoD security hardening, collection and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS SCAP, Nessus, etc.), security architectures, Management Services, and Network (routing, switching, etc.) 

  • Provides Access Management, Configuration Management, Cisco Internet Operating System (IOS), Cisco ASA firewalls, data packet routing, switching, proxy services, and engineering for IP data networks 

  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments 

  • Plans and leads major technology assignments 

  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments 

  • May supervise others 

 

Required Skills:  

  • TS clearance with SCI eligibility 

  • BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered; 8-12 years of experience 

  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, to include thorough technical documentation. 

  • Required 8140 Cert - 441 - Intermediate  

  • Firm understanding of the operation of network protocols and Firewall packet and proxy filters 

  • Experience with multi-level security domains 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Desired CCDA-Cisco Certified Design Associate

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
