Position Summary

As a Cybersecurity Awareness Analyst, you will be crucial in promoting and enhancing cybersecurity awareness within Stryker and among our stakeholders. You will assist in designing, implementing, and managing the cybersecurity awareness programs to educate our employees and stakeholders about potential cyber threats and the importance of cybersecurity best practices. 

Utilize creative approaches to make complex security topics accessible and interesting to non-technical staff.  Create engaging and informative Cybersecurity awareness campaigns tailored to various audiences within the organization including design and implement marketing strategies to promote cybersecurity awareness internally. Develop and manage content for newsletters, intranet, and other communication channels.

What you will do: 

  • Collaborate with the Manager of Cybersecurity Awareness to develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity awareness programs tailored to Stryker’s needs.

  • Assist in creating educational materials, including presentations, videos, newsletters, and online courses to communicate cybersecurity concepts effectively across Stryker.

  • Conduct training sessions for Stryker employees tailored to the cybersecurity awareness program and that educate on but not limited to cybersecurity risks, threat mitigation, and secure online behavior.

  • At the direction of the Manager, Cybersecurity Awareness, organize workshops, lunch and learns all-hands meetings, and roadshows to address specific cybersecurity topics and ensure a proactive approach to cybersecurity within Stryker.

  • Promote cybersecurity awareness through various communication channels, including emails, intranet, posters, digital signage, in-person communications, and internal social platforms.

  • Engage with employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity vigilance and openness, encouraging reporting of potential threats and incidents.

  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of cybersecurity awareness programs using key metrics and feedback mechanisms.

  • Utilize feedback to continuously improve and tailor cybersecurity education initiatives to meet Stryker’s needs and industry trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity awareness into different business functions and projects.

  • Establish partnerships with external organizations to stay updated on cybersecurity trends, best practices, and emerging threats. 

What you need:

  • BS in Computer Information Systems, Communications, Cybersecurity, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CSAA—preferred.

  • Experience in cybersecurity, communications, training, or a related field.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices—preferred.

  • Experience in information security, cyber security, or similar functional areas.

  • Experience working with third-party providers - preferred

  • Experience driving change within an organization - preferred

  • Experience building cyber security training programs - preferred

  • Experience developing effective communications and/or training programs - preferred

  • Experience developing and delivering engaging training or awareness content—preferred.

  • Experience in creating effective communications or instructional materials—preferred.

Travel Percentage: 20%
