Salesforce Inc. seeks Compliance & Audit Analyst in Dallas, Texas:
Job Duties: Assist Senior Auditors and Audit Managers / Senior Managers with planning and general team functions. Assist with planning, fieldwork, and reporting throughout the audit life cycle. Develop a strong understanding of Salesforce's business model, processes, systems, and underlying controls, and influence positive change in these areas. Evaluate and assist in improving the effectiveness of the Company’s risk management and governance processes. Be knowledgeable in project management standard processes including project plans, charters, and task management. Individually and with the team, build relationships and work with process owners to understand and detail their operations and the underlying internal controls environment. Develop and complete audit testing procedures to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. Prepare high-quality audit work papers detailing the test steps performed, the results and recommendations. Deliver assigned audit tasks and other project tasks within required timelines and with minimal direction from senior/manager, with a focus on delivering quality work product while adhering to global audit methodologies and standards. Support audit activities for the Company’s product, technology, cybersecurity, business operations and data privacy areas across the entire enterprise. Assess strategic, operational, technical, and compliance risks and extract data from various systems to prepare and build the data pipeline for analysis supporting audit testing. Lead issue follow-ups and closure processes for open Management Action Plans, resulting from past audits. Stay abreast of standard methodologies, both internally and externally, and provide a conduit for introducing those practices to the company. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: Two years of experience required in the following skills: (1) Data Analysis and Visualizations (Python, R, Tableau, Stata, Scrum); (2) Knowledge of Internal Audit Frameworks; (3) Knowledge of Compliance Standards (ISO, NIST, PCI, HIPAA GDPR, SOX, or SOC); (4) Control Design and Testing; (5) Risk Assessment & Mitigation; (6) Experience in Financial Modeling; (7) Experience building Risks and control matrices (RACMs); (8) Experience in Project Management. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
