Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in cybersecurity focus on protecting organisations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. They work to identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data.

In threat intelligence and vulnerability management at PwC, you will focus on identifying and analysing potential threats to an organisation's security, as well as managing vulnerabilities to prevent cyber attacks. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information and enabling the resilience of digital infrastructure.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of 

As a key member of our security team, will be responsible for both vulnerability management and penetration testing to ensure the security and integrity of our systems, networks, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans to identify security weaknesses.

  • Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.

  • Perform comprehensive penetration tests on internal and external systems to simulate real-world attack scenarios and identify potential security gaps.

  • Document and report findings from vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, providing actionable recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and mitigate risks based on the severity and potential impact of vulnerabilities.

  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies.

  • Engage with clients to understand their security needs and provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance their overall security posture. 

Experiences and skills you’ll need to solve 

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or Business. 

  • Technical designations such as CISSP, CISA or CISM. Additional credentials such as OSCP, CEH, ECSA, ELPT, GPEN, GWAPT will be considered an advantage. 

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with a strong preference on those who have consulting experience in a Big 4 or similar. 

  • Solid mix of business and technical capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex technical and risk management issues to senior executives within the context of their business. 

  • Ability to identify opportunities with clients and propose solutions that meet the client’s needs. 

  • Clear, articulate and confident written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong presentation and report writing skills. 

  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities. 

  • Ability to develop and manage senior-level relationships;  

  • Strong project management, facilitation and delivery skills.  

  • Ability to develop high level and detailed budgets and resourcing plans. 

  • The ability to manage a number of projects, meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
