Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead DevSecOps Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead an agile team of 5-10 engineers across a matrixed organization supporting DevOps for a software application

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications

• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes

• Create and manage tickets in Jira and assist other team members in their ticket creation

• Document processes and projects in Confluence

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

• Must have 2+ years of relevant professional experience

• Proof of US Citizenship is required

• Must have active DoD Top Secret security clearance, with SCI/SAR eligibility

• Proficiency in ticket creation and management using Jira

• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Expert with Linux scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy, or equivalent) 

• Experience with code revision management tools such as Git 

• Experience with Linux container technologies (Docker, Podman, LXC, or equivalent)  

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration technology 

• Experience with Linux and package management systems (RHEL, Centos, or equivalent)  

• Experience with automated configuration management tools (Ansible, Helm, or equivalent)

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
