Our work depends on Cyber Technical Analyst Expert joining our team to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Cloud Services (FCS) Enterprise Information Management Data Platform (EDP)

HOW A Cyber Technical Analyst Expert WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs assessments of systems and networks within a network environment or enclave. Plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements, and measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities

• Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities
• Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems
• Assists in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP), and may make recommendations on process tailoring
• Responsible for the performance of analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards
• Supports the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports
• Conduct periodic reviews of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed
  
  WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
• Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Gov Cloud Security Experience e.g., AWS, Azure
• Security Clearance Level: Public Trust
• Required Skills and Abilities: Customer Facing Role: must have ability to attend and engage in meetings with Senior FAA Leadership.  Lead role for annual Security Assessment activities.
• Preferred Skills: Familiarity with FAA systems and security protocols

The likely salary range for this position is $165,750 - $224,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
