The Leidos MARCENT program is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support cybersecurity operations, system accreditation, and risk management for military networks at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will provide expertise in planning, designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity systems while ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF). You will also support system accreditation, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity training for military personnel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee RMF accreditation for new and existing systems.
  • Provide technical and operational support for accreditation processes, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity training.
  • Assess and enhance security configurations of networks and monitoring systems.
  • Track and resolve cyber incident reports related to system vulnerabilities.
  • Respond to CENTCOM Cyber Tasking Orders (CCTOs) and Marine Corps directives, ensuring timely compliance.
  • Develop cybersecurity diagrams outlining operational and system-level architectures.
  • Implement change management processes to optimize security practices.
  • Assist in developing and executing the Command Cyber Security Training and Education Program.
     


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional trainings, certifications, and experienced may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Active IAM Level II certification.
  • Current U.S. passport with the ability to travel internationally on short notice.
  • Advanced proficiency in Information Systems Security Management (722).
  • Experience with USMC E-ITSM Remedy Incident Management.
  • Systems Security Manager Basic Training completed.
  • Strong expertise in system/network administration and incident response management.
  • Familiarity with security operations, threat detection, and risk mitigation.
  • Training in Electronic Key Management Systems (V-4C-0013) and Journeyman Communications (A-260-0061).
  • Experience as a Navy Joint Fleet Telecommunications Operations Center Watch Officer (C5F) or similar.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Significant military experience.
  • Advanced training in HBSS (W-150-2160) and Emergency Operations Center Incident Management (S-540-1000).
  • Active CompTIA certifications: Network+, PenTest+, Security+, and SecurityX.
  • Expertise in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) Administration ePO 5.10 (levels 201, 301, 501).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
