About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, technically adept leader to drive the strategy and execution of our Enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) program. This role combines subject matter expertise with people leadership to oversee Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Providers (IdP), and vaulting technologies across the enterprise — spanning Information Technology, engineering, and business systems.
As a key leader in the security organization, you will provide mentorship and coaching to a high-performing team, drive cross-functional collaboration, and deliver measurable improvements to our security posture, operational efficiency, and end-user experience.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of technical depth, leadership maturity, and a passion for building scalable, secure identity solutions that meet business needs and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) functions.
Design and implement scalable access control models (e.g., RBAC, ABAC, SoD) and lifecycle processes (Joiner-Mover-Leaver).
Collaborate with Security, IT, HR, and Compliance to align identity practices with identity strategy, organizational policy, business goals and regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor a team of IAM professionals while driving continuous improvement in access governance, automation, and audit readiness.
Monitor emerging technologies and threats to ensure a strong, adaptive identity security posture
Technical Expertise
Deep hands-on experience with IAM protocols and standards including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SCIM, and platforms such as Microsoft Entra.
Expertise in implementing and managing IAM, IGA, and PAM platforms such as Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, CyberArk, and Vault products.
Proven ability to design secure, scalable identity architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Skilled in automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Terraform) to streamline identity lifecycle and policy management and adopt DevOps-aligned practices.
Strong knowledge of Zero Trust principles, adaptive authentication, risk-based access, and integration with SIEM platforms for identity threat detection.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of IAM professionals, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Translate complex identity and security requirements into practical, scalable solutions that improve user experience and reduce risk.
Drive consensus across stakeholders on IAM policy, governance, and architecture decisions.
Represent the IAM function in audits, strategic planning sessions, and executive discussions
Compliance & Governance
Ensure IAM practices align with relevant regulatory frameworks, including SOC2, ISO 27001, CMMC/FedRAMP, SOX, GDPR, NIST
Lead access certification campaigns, SoD reviews, and periodic entitlement audits to maintain least-privilege access and compliance posture.
Integrate identity data and event logs with SIEM tools to support security investigations, monitoring, and threat detection.
Partner with internal audit and compliance teams to demonstrate IAM controls and remediation plans during assessments.
Develop and refine risk-based access models and conditional access policies to proactively manage identity risks

Cloud IAM: Azure AD, AWS IAM, Google Cloud IAM, Azure B2B/B2C
SIEM & Monitoring: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar
Automation: PowerShell, Python, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Ansible
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of progressive IAM experience, including 3+ years managing IAM teams or functions.
Proven ability to drive strategic IAM initiatives, balancing security, scalability, and user experience.
Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-wide IAM, IGA, and PAM solutions in complex, hybrid environments.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to identity and access.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field
