The Senior Network Security Engineer plays a critical role in the design, deployment, and support of SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) security solutions for corporate customers. This role will act as a SASE subject matter expert and has a primary focus on supporting the delivery of SASE services in hand with existing Service Delivery Engineers , Service Assurance, with an additional focus on customer SASE practice process, training, and product development support.  
As a senior escalation point within the SASE practice, you will provide expert guidance to Service Delivery Engineers and contribute to the successful customer integration of security services such as Cloud Web Security (CWS), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Antivirus (AV), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Edge Firewall Services (EFS),in addition to other security solutions within customer environments.  
As a key member of the SASE / Security Practice, you will also contribute to process improvement, training, product development, and the ongoing evolution of our security thought leadership.

What you'll be doing

• Act as the primary escalation point for SD engineers during delivery of SASE solutions.
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of delivery processes and infrastructure
• Provide expert technical guidance and sign-off on complex customer SASE solutions.
• Support SASE service assurance escalations to resolve customer and vendor issues.
• Standardize and enhance network design and architecture for scalability and maintainability. 
• Develop and maintain documentation (e.g., network plans, roadmaps)
• Collaborate with Product Management to align technical and product development.
• Manage SASE escalations related to vendor performance, bugs, and support. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Maintain deep technical expertise in SASE and security technologies.
• Provide practical leadership and thought leadership in security solutions. 
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.

Your ideal skills and experience

• Expert level of technical skills operating at a Senior Network Engineer level of responsibility
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network design and delivery 
• Excellent understanding of modern cybersecurity solutions especially SASE,(CWS, DLP, CASB),NGFW etc
• Strong understanding of networking technologies MPLS IPVPN, IP Networking and especially SDWAN.
• Good working knowledge of IP, BGP, and OSPF
• Experience in MPLS/BGP design and implementation 
• Certified in Cisco CCNA or higher 
• Experience in an operational role within the Telecommunications Industry or Security environment
• Hands on experience with Symantec, Netskope, Zscaler, Fortinet solutions  (desirable)
• Hands on experience with Velocloud SDWAN, Cisco, Juniper MIST-Wifi, Fortinet solutions (desirable)
• Experience with Python, Powershell, Bash, JavaScript (desirable)
• Certifications in Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS (desirable)
