Job Description

Join Solidigm as a Data Security Architect and shape the future of enterprise data protection in an AI-driven world. You'll be at the forefront of securing sensitive data across traditional and cutting-edge AI systems while driving our Azure cloud transformation and expanding GenAI initiatives. This is a strategic role where you'll build robust security frameworks that enable innovation while maintaining the highest standards of data protection.

What You'll Do

Data Protection & Governance

• Architect and implement comprehensive data security solutions including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification & Labeling, Information Rights Management (IRM), and advanced email security
• Deploy and optimize Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender to create a unified data protection ecosystem
• Design data security policies and automated monitoring frameworks that ensure continuous compliance and audit readiness

AI Security Leadership

• Pioneer AI security initiatives by collaborating with AI/ML and enterprise architecture teams to establish security guardrails for AI operations
• Implement advanced AI security controls including prompt sanitization, output filtering, adversarial input detection, and sensitive data redaction
• Develop security frameworks for GenAI platforms addressing emerging threats like prompt injections and AI-specific attack vectors

Cloud Security Excellence

• Lead cloud security integration initiatives with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Azure Key Vault, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Ensure seamless security across cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises environments
• Support Design and implement secure identity and access management solutions that scale with business needs

Encryption & Key Management

• Oversee enterprise-wide encryption strategies and implement secure key management using Azure Key Vault, and Venafi
• Ensure end-to-end data protection throughout the complete data lifecycle
• Design cryptographic solutions that meet regulatory requirements while maintaining operational efficiency (encryption at rest, in transit, and in use)

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of progressive experience in data protection, cloud security, or enterprise IT operations
• Deep expertise with the Microsoft Security ecosystem, including hands-on experience with Purview, Defender suite, Defender for Cloud Apps, Azure Key Vault, and Information Rights Management
• Proven track record implementing DLP, CASB, encryption, and secure cloud integrations in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of AI/ML security challenges and emerging threat landscapes

Preferred Qualifications

• GenAI Security Experience: Hands-on experience securing generative AI platforms and implementing AI-specific security controls
• Technical Leadership: Experience designing and implementing security dashboards, automation tools, and runtime governance solutions
• Solid foundation in security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, or equivalent industry recognition

Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $139,480 - $209,760. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
