Job Description
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Expert with extensive experience in full prototyping to support complex system development and integration efforts. This role requires expertise in SysML modeling, digital engineering, and system architecture, ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering disciplines. The ideal candidate will work on-site in Crane, IN, engaging with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in system design and prototyping.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement MBSE methodologies to enhance system design and integration.
- Utilize SysML and digital engineering tools to create comprehensive system models.
- Lead full prototyping efforts, ensuring alignment with system requirements and performance goals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and vendors to refine system architecture.
- Conduct trade studies, simulations, and validation of system models.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in MBSE.
- Stay updated on emerging MBSE technologies and trends.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Proven experience in MBSE, SysML modeling, and digital engineering.
- Expertise in full prototyping, including hardware and software integration.
- Strong knowledge of CAMEO, DOORS, and other MBSE tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Crane, IN and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI elgibility.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications such as INCOSE CSEP or OCSMP Model Builder.
- Experience with government or defense-related MBSE applications.
- Familiarity with agile development and DevSecOps practices.
