Arctic Wolf is looking for a Manager for our Concierge Services to join our pack.

As a new wolf, you’ll join the brightest minds in the industry and your unique skills will drive ambitious outcomes whether you support our security intelligence solutions, partnerships, or the Arctic Wolf customer or employee experience. 

What You’ll Do  

The Manager is an experienced leader of customer-facing technical staff.  The Manager leads a team of Concierge Security Engineers that deliver Arctic Wolf Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Managed Risk, and other consultative security services to a dedicated group of customers in a specific customer segment.  The Manager coaches, works closely and collaboratively with their team, across the Concierge department and cross-functionally to fulfill these key responsibilities: 

  • Develop and inspire a world-class consulting team by leveraging new tools and approaches, nurturing individual strengths, continuously enhancing skills, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure the timely, effective, and consistent delivery of high-value Concierge Security services to customers by your team of Concierge Security Engineers; 
  • Lead, coach and train your teams in operational excellence in all areas, including:
    • Customer escalations. 
    • Continuous state of the art security consultancy; 
    • Customer proof of concept (POC) projects;
    • Incident response and coordination with Security Operations; 
    • Consultative sprints to improve customer’s overall security posture 
    • Emergency situations, such as spikes in workload;
    • Service Level Objectives (SLOs); 
    • Manage all staffing and performance aspects of your team, such as:
      • Capacity and recruitment planning to support customer needs; 
      • Performance and skills assessment, mentorship and training; 
      • Recruiting, assessment, and onboarding of new staff; 
  • Effectively partner and collaborate cross-functionally with Security Operations, Customer Success, Product Management, and R&D to ensure an aligned and consistent delivery of security services, to advocate for your customers, and ultimately exceed your customers’ expectations.
  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continual improvement. 
  • Office onsite support for your and other teams like Concierge, cSOC, IR, Sales, Marketing functions in the Cork Office

Who You Are  

You are a pragmatic doer, a solution-driven achiever, and a critical thinker who approaches challenges with focus and determination.  You are solutions-focused, motivating and have a positive can-do attitude. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can navigate and guide others through uncertainty and evolving priorities.  

You love to lead technical teams and exceed customer expectations.  You are an excellent communicator and are able easily interact with a variety of people, personalities and technical skill levels.  Above all, your passion for cybersecurity and partnering with customers shows in everything you do!  

You possess these required skills and experience:  

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience in a security operations or vulnerability management;  
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in a technical security role; 
  • Experience as a cybersecurity consultant is a must 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience in the cybersecurity field; 
  • Stellar customer-partnering and -relationship building skills in a professional context  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills  

Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas or technologies:

  • Defense-in-depth security model, including perimeter and operating system hardening, and vulnerability management;  
  • Risk management, assessment and common compliance frameworks;  

Working knowledge in multiple of these additional areas or technologies:

  • Enterprise IT security solutions, such as: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Antivirus, Content Filtering, SIEM tools, and Proxies;  
  • Enterprise IT operations, such as: Networking, Active Directory, LDAP, server administration, and cloud infrastructure;  
  • Security architecture;   
  • Secure DevOps for working in the cloud;
  • Scripting tools and languages, such as Python, Bash, and Power Shell; 
  • Security testing and forensics tools; 
  • Malware analysis;  
  • Incident response; 
  • Authentication and identity management;
  • Penetration testing and attack simulation.
