Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and SD-WAN configurations. The Network Engineer role acts as a leading technical authority for the organization's network communication systems, encompassing multiple office locations, data center and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain, and monitor network devices across all office locations and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) ensuring optimal performance and security.

Provide ongoing Level 3 operational support to assist in the diagnosis and resolution of network problems

  • Leading in the design, installation, configuration, and administration of network communication tools and applications.
  • Ensuring optimal network performance through consistent monitoring and management.
  •  Directing network services and the systems responsible for network communication addresses.
  •  Collaborating with external vendors to guarantee the network structure aligns with the organization's objectives.
  •  Formulating and disseminating guidelines, protocols, and standards for network infrastructure utilization.
  •  Safeguarding vital business operations against interruptions resulting from network downtimes.
  • Regularly review and update firewall policies and configurations to meet evolving security requirements and business needs.
  • Coordinate with other IT and security teams to address vulnerabilities, threats, and incidents.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to network infrastructure, procedures, configurations, and change management.
  • Assist in network expansion or reconfiguration projects, ensuring security best practices are adhered to.
  •  Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques.
     

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network security or engineer role, with significant expertise in Palo Alto firewall configurations and management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Years of experience may be substituted for degree.
  •  Proven experience with SD-WAN solutions, design, and implementations.
  •  Knowledge of security best practices, threat landscape, and mitigation techniques.
  •  Familiarity with network protocols, LAN/WAN technologies, and network architecture.
  • Cloud networking experience including Azure/AWS VPN and cloud network concepts is a plus.
  •  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
