Join Altera as a Senior Manager, Information Security! The Senior Manager, Information Security will lead and manage our information security strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals and technical needs. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of information security policies, procedures, risk assessment, risk identification, and mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and a proven track record of successfully managing security initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with company goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse global security team, including analysts, administrators, and architects.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our security measures cutting-edge.

  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and status reports for security initiatives.

  • Provide technical guidance in information security frameworks and best practices.

  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of information security systems.

  • Serve as the primary contact between business teams, system integrators, and IT teams for security matters.

  • Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate needs into security solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of security initiatives.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to deliver on key areas such as security, performance optimization, infrastructure management, and system integrations.

Salary Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor within the US market. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/BS with 10+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in Information Security, Computer Science, or a STEM-related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in information security management, with a focus on policy development, risk assessment, and mitigation.

  • 5+ years of experience in managing vendors and business stakeholders.

  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing a diverse and global security team.

  • 5+ years of experience implementing large transformation security solutions that drive business value.

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of semiconductor industry processes and business requirements.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.

  • Mergers and Acquisitions knowledge.
