Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant designs, delivers, and presents cyber incident response capabilities to our clients. This is a hybrid role requiring both technical acumen and strong client-facing communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in incident response, knowledge of legal or regulatory frameworks (such as GDPR, HIPAA, or CCPA), and the ability to collaborate with internal teams on cybersecurity solutions that align with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cyber incident response frameworks tailored to client environments.
  • Support client onboarding and scoping of cybersecurity engagements, including incident response readiness assessments.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to clients, legal stakeholders, and executives regarding cybersecurity offerings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (eDiscovery, legal project managers, sales) to develop cross-functional solutions for data breaches and forensic needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in client-facing engagements, offering advisory support during active incidents if needed.
  • Contribute to the creation of reusable content (e.g., playbooks, checklists, report templates).

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in cybersecurity, including at least 2 years in incident response or client-facing consulting/pre-sales.
  • Technical depth: Solid grasp of the incident-response lifecycle, threat detection, and frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, or similar privacy regimes.
  • Business savvy: Comfort supporting RFPs, proposals, and solution positioning in complex sales cycles.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional communication—able to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences—and strong analytical/problem-solving ability.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH) are strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Travel

  • Primarily remote or office-based; periodic travel to client sites and industry events (10% -20%).
