The NS2 Senior DevSecOps engineer candidate will be responsible for the development of a standalone implementation of SAP Products and solutions that meet our client’s complex needs.  This position is located onsite in Chantilly, VA.  Candidates should be hands-on and have the necessary knowledge of cloud-based systems and associated security principles to effectively work with minimal supervision in a cloud environment and understand the complexities that come with cloud. This is a full-time position, and due to security requirements is on-site only. 

Skills/Experience Requirements 

• Utilize tools such as GitLab, Concourse CI, Jenkins, and Hashicorp Vault.
• Enforce IAM policies, directory services, and Keycloak integration for identity/access management.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning (Trivy, Grype) and implement DevSecOps practices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot IaC scripts and automation pipelines (Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, YAML, JSON, Jinja and more).

• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes environments (Gardener, EKS and self-managed clusters) and container registries (ECR, Harbor, Artifactory).
• Deploy and maintain Virtual Machines with Linux, Cloud Foundry and Docker-based runtimes.

• Utilize Source Control Systems (such as GitLab) and managing multiple Git repositories and pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Container/Helm Registries (such as AWS ECR, Harbor and Artifactory).
• Utilize Operators (such as ArgoCD, Kubectl, and Terraform K8s provider)
• Manage multiple runtime environments (such as dev, stage, production).
• Industry recognized system administration certification.

• 3+ years of DevOps experience in AWS environments.
• 3+ years of IaC experience utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps.

Desired Experience and Skills 

• Strong knowledge of SAP processes and experience in enterprise software development would be an added advantage. 
• AWS and/or Linux certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP components (Gardener, IAS, Cloud Foundry, etc.) is a plus.

Additional Requirements 

• BA/BS Degree is required. Ideally in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology. MA/MS Preferred. 

• Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 133700 - 227500(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
