Information Security team leader

mPrest Defense is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Team Lead for a significant and challenging role, tailored for professionals with deep knowledge and experience in infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Managing and leading the cybersecurity team, including professional mentoring and personal development of team members
• Leading risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability mitigation processes
• Overseeing the operation of EDR, NAC, WAF, Proxy, content filtering, and email security systems
• Managing and maintaining firewall systems and additional communication infrastructure
• Securing cloud environments and Microsoft 365, including OS and application protection
• Deploying and upgrading cybersecurity solutions in complex environments

The role includes a combination of hands-on technical work and managerial responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience leading cybersecurity/infrastructure teams
• Ability to implement security policies and procedures
• Extensive experience with network equipment – switches, routers, firewalls – preference for CCNA, CCSA certifications
• Strong knowledge of WAF, DLP, VPN, Proxy, EDR technologies
• Significant experience working with Windows/Linux servers
• Familiarity with security risk management and information security standards
• Security clearance – a major advantage
