Role:                     Technical Business Analyst

Location:             Washington DC (4 days onsite in a week)

 

 Job Description: 

Role Overview:
The selected candidate will work closely with the Access Management and Data Privacy project manager to support business process modeling, requirements gathering, feasibility analysis, and documentation for access management and governance workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Conduct detailed analysis to understand requirements for access management, governance workflows, and metrics dashboards.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to document current access control and data governance workflows.
  • Business Process Modeling:
    • Create BPMN models using tools like iGrafx to document workflows for access control, recertification, and identity management.
    • Develop process models for SailPoint integration, including identity provisioning and role management workflows.
  • Feasibility Assessment:
    • Assess the feasibility of integrating applications into SailPoint.
    • Identify gaps and dependencies and propose actionable solutions.
  • Documentation and Standardization:
    • Document SOPs, workflows, and process requirements for governance solutions.
    • Develop templates and standards for consistent business process documentation.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Work with technical teams to define and track project milestones.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and recommendations.
    • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles.

Primary Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in BPMN, iGrafx, and Microsoft Visio for process modeling and documentation.
  • Strong experience in gathering and analyzing complex business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Purview for documentation and governance.
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts and tools such as SailPoint.

Secondary Skills:

  • Knowledge of Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with database design and optimization (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres).
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks like GDPR, SOX, and NIST.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis and process modeling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CISSP, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desirable.
