Analyst, Security Administrator

About this role

We are looking for a qualified professional to oversee and support global security access control systems, video surveillance infrastructure, and associated administrative functions. The successful candidate will blend technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to uphold system integrity, support compliance efforts, and provide high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control Administration

• Manage and configure the global BlackRock card access control system and its components.

Perform reconciliation audits between the C

• CURE system and building-managed access platforms.
• Conduct data quality reviews within Alert Enterprise for user recertification.
• Verify global termination data against Human Resources records in Workday.

Monitor the C

• CURE platform for security alerts and escalate issues as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and maintain security-related databases to ensure system stability and data integrity.
• Oversee database quality by conducting reviews, maintaining documentation, and streamlining workflows in collaboration with Alert Enterprise automation teams.
• Triage technology faults and coordinate on-site responses by security engineers.
• Ensure accurate and consistent data entry and record-keeping in compliance with the Enterprise Security Standard and administrative protocols.
• Review and validate access rights for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Adhere to and enforce all applicable procedures and guidelines in line with enterprise security standards.

Audit & Compliance

• Prepare and maintain audit logs and reports for restricted areas, including access-level assessments and system log reviews.
• Monitor internal controls to ensure that security clearance and access permissions are properly managed.

Training & Support

• Deliver training programs on card access systems and provide cross-training for security officers.
• Act as a point of contact for end-users, addressing security-related questions with professionalism and efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong analytical and technical skills, particularly in security systems and database management.
• Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative without reliance on rigid procedures.
• Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving ability in technical environments, with experience in process improvement and system optimization.

#EarlyCareers For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$66,500.00 - USD$85,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
