Summary

Join Dolby as an Information Security Intern and be at the forefront of safeguarding cutting-edge technology! You'll develop and implement advanced security frameworks for vulnerability management, and data protection, based on top industry standards and ethical guidelines. This role offers a dynamic environment where you'll make a significant impact on the future of vulnerability management and data security at Dolby. 

   

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Hands-on experience with real-world security tools and process and help remediate vulnerabilities across enterprise systems.

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing vulnerability scan results using tools like Qualys, Orca and SentinelOne.

  • Help maintain the vulnerability management lifecycle, including tracking findings, verifying remediation efforts and collaborate with stakeholders to validate vulnerability findings and escalate critical issues.

  • Support documentation and reporting efforts related to vulnerabilities, and remediation progress. 

  • Assist in preparing metrics and dashboards for leadership reporting.
  • Help improve processes and workflows by contributing to vulnerability tracking, asset inventory correlation and risk prioritization.
  • Develop a data protection reference controls framework based on:
  • Dolby’s Data Classification and Handling Policy
  • Industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc. 

  

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Education Required 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a cyber security field or equivalent. 

  • Interest in vulnerability assessment, cybersecurity operations, and cyber security Analyst. 

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and JIRA 

  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 

  

Job Expectations 

  • Travel for business as required. 

  • Occasionally work during odd hours to support international Dolby associates or coordinate with team, member in other time zones for critical projects. 

  • Performs duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. 

  • Assists team members as needed. 

 

Eligibility: 

Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cybersecurity or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday – Friday for 6 months between September 2025 – March 2026.  

Start date for the internship is as follows: (note this date is not flexible)  

  • Monday, September 22, 2025 

 

The Atltant base hourly range for this internship position is $26-36/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
