IT Security Support MY

This is a remote position.

This is a 1-year contract role with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.


​Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Security Support professional to join our team on a 1-year contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in IT Security and possess relevant security certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CCSP. You will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and enhancing the security posture of our IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security best practices and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day operational support for IT security-related issues.
  
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and alerts.
  
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  
• Support implementation and management of security tools (firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, DLP, etc.).
  
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure security controls are in place across systems and networks.
  
• Document and maintain standard operating procedures for security operations.
  
• Assist in risk assessments and security audits.
  
• Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT Security or related roles.
  
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
  
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  
• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
  
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  
• Experience with security tools and platforms such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  
• Good communication and documentation skills.
