ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Financial Analyst join our team in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivers comprehensive financial and analytical assistance to various internal teams, external collaborators, and industry specialists

  • Lead the construction, sustainment, and oversight of sophisticated forecasting models, such as Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC)

  • Track and report on the progress of financial plans, ensuring contractual, cost, and schedule goals are consistently achieved; prepare detailed financial reports for Government submission and manage complex expenditures

  • Independently initiate purchase requisitions for materials, subcontractors, equipment, production costs, and delivery schedules, leveraging collected data and analyzing potential solutions using extensive experience, sound judgment, and established precedents

  • Provide expert support to Financial Managers in the execution of financial planning and proactively identify and resolve moderately complex business problems that impact service levels and team performance. Guided by department policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the Business Plan, they effectively guide, influence, and persuade others, both internally and externally

  • Deliver comprehensive financial status and forecasting, including detailed costs incurred and projected by Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN), Cost Schedule Report (CSR), and funding documents

  • They expertly use the ConstantView data repository for financial tracking and reporting

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or 4+ years additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree

  • 9+ years of relevant financial analyst experience.

  • 3+ years of experience with AAS/FEDSIM  financial documentation.

  • Experience working with the PeopleSoft application. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting. Experience with budgeting and forecasting methodologies (e.g., EAC, ETC).

  • Knowledge of contract management and cost control principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and potential risks.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Previous experience within military finance.

  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations (e.g., SOX) and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Knowledge of frameworks like NIST Cybersecurity Framework and standards (i.e., ISO 27001).

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial planning software, data visualization tools, and other relevant tools.

  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

  • Certifications, training, or experience with ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management Systems. Certifications, training, or familiarization with finance and accounting programs (e.g., PeopleSoft, Business schools, Corporate Finance Institute, etc.).

  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
