Compliance Manager
Location: Remote in U.S
About the Role: This position manages a team of Compliance Administrators to ensure assigned staff meet all regulatory and contractual compliance standards. Through their managed team of Compliance Administrators they remotely monitor and coordinate the collection and renewal of compliance documents to ensure security personnel meet all specified contractual and regulatory requirements. This includes coordinating with clinical health screening and training resources to create and maintain a compliance documentation cycle of renewal that maintains 100% compliance for all assigned personnel, and preparing and analyzing compliance status reports for local and regional leadership. The position requires routine independent decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee contractual and regulatory compliance standards and documentation for all security personnel in accordance with Federal, State, Local, and Accrediting/Regulatory organizations
- Acts to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual and company mandated training requirements; acts to ensure compliance with and documentation of the training requirements of the service contract
- Monitors compliance documentation programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and recommend updates as necessary
- Coordinate with Site and Regional leaders to ensure security compliance medical clearances, evaluations and training documentation is completed and uploaded into web-based audit/compliance tracking tool
- Conducts routine needs analysis studies; identifies operational discrepancies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches
- Assists with analyzing and coordinating training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs and company services; coordinates training activities so as not to conflict with client service schedules
- Communicate with team members, trainers, and management to ensure all needs are met, ranging from individual officers to the entire security enterprise
- Maintains records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate performance of compliance activities for local and regional leadership
- Research and remain current in federal, regional, and state regulations impacting Healthcare Division first receiver operations, as well as the defusing aggressive behavior training guidelines
- Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned Healthcare Division Area
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will typically supervise anywhere from 4-8 non-exempt Compliance Administrators
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of compliance experience, preferably in security government contracts, or regulated industries
- Experience managing audits and investigations in highly regulated environments
- Experience with compliance tracking tools, compliance platforms, and reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of security compliance frameworks
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and enforce contractual obligations
- Ability to explain complex compliance requirements clearly to employees, executives, and clients
- Ability to assess security and compliance risks and implementing proactive solutions
- Strategic Thinking – Ability to align compliance initiatives with business objectives
- Decision-Making – Confidence in making high-stakes compliance and risk decisions
- Team Leadership – Managing compliance teams, delegating tasks, and developing staff
- Collaboration – Working across departments
- Attention to detail – ensuring accuracy in documentation, contracts, and audit findings
- Familiarity with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations that impact security operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree or above, with a relevant field of study
- Certifications such as: CIPP, CCEP, CISSP, or PMP are a plus
