Cybersecurity is part of Wells Fargo's Technology organization. Wells Fargo views Cybersecurity as enabling lines of business to mitigate information security risk in accordance with our risk appetite. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, Cybersecurity team protects our infrastructure, company data, and customer assets while ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and laws.

This position is for an Information Security Engineer with 4+ years working in Identity and Access Managements technology management with at least 3+ years working with IAM Single Sign on Solutions.  This position will be responsible for the ongoing operations support of on-prem and cloud based authentication solutions and federation solutions including password-less and FIDO compliant authentication technologies.  This position will need to provide technical guidance to a set of operations engineers in resolving production issues related to Single Sign on Solutions.

This is an operations position performing production support, BCP, production integrations/releases and upgrades for these services. This position will also be responsible for Monitor and keep the IAM platforms in compliance and current.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex events
  • Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
  • Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
  • Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
  • Review and correlate security logs
  • Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with SSO platforms

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability supporting applications in a distributed, highly available, mission-critical environment
  • Proficient in Agent Based, Web Based and Federated Authentication and Authorization standards
  • Strong hands-on experience with industry standard SSO technologies and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, SAML 2.0)
  • Experience in handing migrations from one Single Sign on product to another
  • Technical experience in integrating applications with Siteminder SSO solution
  • Documenting run books for operations engineers.
  • Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory services, MFA, Risk based authentication and privileged access management
  • Familiarity with deployments and integration of IAM solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex enterprise systems and frameworks including frontends, middleware, services layer, database, backend and downstream interfaces
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical writing: storage, middleware, or virtualization
  • Strong negotiation and leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes containerization strategy


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $179,200.00
