As a Sr. Security Analyst, primary duty is to act as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for multiple Intelligence Community (IC) programs
What You Will Do
- Understand, interpret and enforce government directives and company security policies, providing direction and guidance to employees and visitors.
- Provide attention to detail in dealing with prime contractors and government customers, using problem solving and organizational skills in an ever changing, very fast paced environment.
- Interface with administration and maintain a liaison with prime government customers, to include Government Program Security Officers (GPSO) as well as providing subcontractor security support as needed.
- Author, edit and submit Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operation Security Instructions, Program Protection Plans, Transportation and Security Education Plans based on government guidance.
- Understand and interpret Security Classification Guides for multiple programs providing guidance to employees.
- Participate in Program staff meetings, program administration reviews, Program Monthly Reviews (PMRs) and Government and Contractor Security Working Groups in support of Intelligence Community Programs.
- Perform alternate COMSEC custodian duties to include operating and caring for the local COMSEC account
- Handle, receive, control, store, inventory, transfer, package, ship, track and destroy material and equipment in accordance with government directives and procedures.
- Conduct self-inspections and periodic audits to ensure accuracy of documentation and equipment, sending written reports to the Customer.
- Provide after-hours support to the mission on a rare, but as needed, basis.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 6 years relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, ICD 705, or experience working in a classified environment.
Qualifications we Prefer
- Experience working with Intelligence Community Customers
- CPSO and/or COMSEC experience
- Customer service-oriented, possessing excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to make sound decisions and take self-guided action to meet or exceed the expectations of customers and visitors.
- Must be able to work in an adaptable multi-faceted environment.
- Must display a professional demeanor and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral communications, providing face to face Security briefings.
