As a Cyber Security Integration Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the M&A process at Flutter, taking a proactive stance in the diligence and integration of new acquisitions. This role supports the end-to-end lifecycle of M&A activities from pre-deal assessment through to post-deal integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Cyber, Workplace Technology, Legal, Compliance, and wider business units to ensure that newly acquired entities are aligned with our enterprise cybersecurity standards. The role requires an analytical mindset, strong technical understanding, and the ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Support risk assessment and due diligence of target companies, identifying cybersecurity posture, gaps, and risks.
Contribute to the development of red-flag reports and executive summaries for the CISO and M&A stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of investment planning, and synergies/dyssynergy identification.
Assist in the development and execution of cyber integration plans.
Work closely with acquired entity IT and security teams to align with corporate security standards.
Track integration milestones and assist in remediating identified risks.
Maintain documentation of integration activities, risks, and controls.
Generate reports and dashboards to communicate status and risk posture to leadership.
Partner with internal cyber teams (TPRM, GRC, Architecture, Identity), and internal technology teams (Workplace Tech, Architecture, Product), as well as external advisors.
Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders globally.
Support the creation and refinement of playbooks, checklists, and methodologies for cyber M&A integration.
Identify lessons learned and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts across the team.
Skills & Capabilities
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and risk management. (experience working within NIST desirable).
Ability to assess technical environments including network architecture, endpoint protection, identity, and cloud security.
Adept at translating complex cybersecurity concepts into business-relevant language to support informed decision-making by non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable engaging with both technical cybersecurity teams and senior business leaders, tailoring communication style and depth accordingly.
Skilled in communicating risk and impact in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to executives, integration leads, and operational teams.
Analytical and investigative skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural, distributed team.
Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent qualifications.
3–5 years of experience in a cyber security or technical integration role (corporate or consulting).
Subject matter expertise in at least one cyber security domain.
Experience delivering assessments using cyber security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO etc)
Familiarity with enterprise security tools such as EDR, SIEM, IAM, and vulnerability management platforms.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and architecture.
Industry certifications (desirable): CompTIA Security+, CISSP Associate, CISA, or similar.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions or enterprise IT transformations is desirable but not required.
Skills & Capabilities
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and familiarity with frameworks like NIST or ISO 27001 (training or exposure desirable).
Interest in learning about technical environments, such as networks, endpoint protection, identity systems, and cloud services.
Willingness to learn how to communicate cybersecurity topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Able to take direction and support cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders.
Developing skills in risk awareness and issue tracking, with guidance from more experienced team members.
Analytical mindset and a curious approach to solving problems, with attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage basic project tasks and timelines.
Good written and verbal communication, with the ability to present ideas clearly in team settings.
Team-oriented and comfortable working in a diverse, distributed environment.
Qualifications & Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Around 1-3 years of experience in a cybersecurity, IT, or technology support role (internships or junior roles acceptable).
Exposure to or interest in cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
Familiarity with basic security tools or concepts (e.g., EDR, IAM, SIEM, vulnerability scanning).
Awareness of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security Fundamentals, or equivalent are desirable but not required.
Any experience (including projects or coursework) related to mergers & acquisitions, IT change, or integration work is a bonus.
