Job Description:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Lead is responsible for coordinating, operating, managing, and governing a suite of security tools in a global environment. This role enables the business community to achieve its goals and objectives while ensuring that appropriate security controls are in place and that the tools comply with security policies and regulatory requirements. The IAM Lead will collaborate as part of a team dedicated to the operational administration, maintenance, and enhancement of our global IAM infrastructure.

The primary focus of this role is to drive overall efficiency within the operations organization and assist in meeting the organization's objectives. While the emphasis will be on IAM technologies, the candidate will also support other technology professionals in enhancing various areas within the security organization.

The ideal candidate for this leadership position will possess a broad range of IT and security skills, especially in Identity and Access Management. Comfort in fast-paced environments, a genuine interest in learning new security technologies, self-motivation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Level 2 Domain Expert: Provide expertise in incident triage and root cause analysis for Identity and Access Management (IAM) security tools, ensuring effective resolution of security incidents.
  • Optimize Operational Processes: Design and refine operational processes to improve the efficiency and workflow of support teams and technical products.
  • Mentorship and Development: Guide and support the growth of junior team members, encouraging internal expertise and professional development within the team.
  • Maintain Technical Documentation: Ensure comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and training materials are up-to-date and accessible as needed.
  • Identify and implement Service Improvement Opportunities: Analyze metrics to identify and prioritize opportunities for service enhancements that drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively across teams to ensure adherence to established operational processes and compliance with J&J's security policies.
  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction: Strive to improve customer satisfaction by addressing concerns effectively and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT, Security or equivalent work experience in an IAM security or IT operations field

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 6 years of professional experience with 3+ years in IT Operations and 2+ years in IT Security is required
  • Proficiency in at least 3 of the following IAM technologies: Microsoft Active Directory, Identity Management platforms (One Identity preferred), Single Sign On (SSO), Azure/ MS Entra ID, Privileged Access Management
  • Experience with current windows Operating Systems
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate global projects, team members and critical support issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of management as well as end users and strong customer service orientation.
  • Work effectively with minimal direction.

Preferred:

  • Experience in an infrastructure operational role.
  • Intermediate experience with UNIX / Linux OS / Centrify)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud services
  • Experience with core infrastructure services (DNS, Wins, Firewalls, etc.)
  • CISSP or CISM certifications
  • Azure AD \ AWS certifications
  • Intermediate PowerShell skillset
