Senior, Software Engineer

Position Summary...

About Team

• This individual will work on e-commerce personalization systems, using both synchronous and asynchronous services.
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality, and high-performance distributed systems and backend services.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and implement distributed systems and back-end services for our e-commerce platforms, focusing on personalization, scalability, and user experience.

• Work on synchronous and asynchronous services, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application security. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in data strategy and architecture.

• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.

• Provide technical guidance and coaching to the development team.

• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven work experience in software development, with an emphasis on distributed systems and backend services.

• Experience with e-commerce systems, personalization technologies, and synchronous/asynchronous services.

• Expertise in various programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

• Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
