During our two decades of service, we have earned the trust and respect of our government clients for the simple reason that we have great people who are experts in their fields and take pride and ownership in everything they do.  BLITS 3.0 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This role will be to directly support the mission of the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) to secure information and information systems; to support mission success through effective and efficient service delivery, and to sustain required infrastructure and capabilities. As one part of the greater Air Force Information Network (AFIN) enterprise, the 66 ABG Communications and Information Division (66 ABG/SC) has responsibilities in two categories (1) direct actions in support of Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB) and geographically separated units (GSUs); and (2) indirect actions to support the AFIN enterprise. Successful solutions for this requirement are expected to have strengths in four areas: integration, flexibility, AFIN knowledge, and technical expertise.  Job Responsibilities:·        Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Duties (formerly Information Assurance Officer) o   Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain customer organization information assurance (IA) program that identifies IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures. o   These requirements may be at the Secret, Top Secret (TS), TS/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI), or Special Access Program (SAP) level. o   Supervise the customer organization’s IA program. o Implement and enforce all Air Force IA policies and procedures using the guidance within this instruction and applicable specialized IA publications. o   Comply with the installation WCSO policy and direction. o   Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, supervisory need-to-know authorization, and are aware of their IA responsibilities (via IA training) before being granted access to Air Force information systems according to AFSSI 8522. o    Ensure all users receive IA refresher training on an annual basis. o   Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation for organization-specific systems connected to the Hanscom Network. o   Ensure IT is operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly and in accordance with the IT’s security C&A documentation as prescribed by AFI 17-101. o   Ensure proper CM procedures are followed. Prior to implementation and contingent upon necessary approval, according to this instruction and AFI 17-101, coordinates any changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware with the installation WCSO and system-level ISSM or ISSO. o   Report IA incidents or vulnerabilities to the installation WCSO. ·        Functional Systems Administration (FSA) Service Functions o   Ensure servers, workstation app, peripherals, communications devices, and operating system (when identified), application software are properly configured for network operation, are on-line, and are available to users. ·        Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Operations, Maintenance, and Support Functions o   Operate VTC systems, to include assisting with scheduling and establishing call sessions. ·        Unit Software License Manager (USLM) Duties ·        IT Consulting, Advice and Liaison Functions  Job Requirements: ·       Associate degree plus 3 years’ experience with Cybersecurity practices within the DoD ·       Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Cybersecurity Directives and Instructions·       Work dynamically and effectively with people on projects (formal and informal) and conduct technical interchanges as required. Strong written, organizational and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service skillsCritical thinking skills for problem identification and resolution·       DoD 8470 Certification, CompTIA Security+ certification required.·       Secret Clearance required
