Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Specialist with proven experience in both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity measures that protect critical digital and industrial infrastructure, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Specialist with proven experience in both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity measures that protect critical digital and industrial infrastructure, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and monitor cybersecurity controls across both IT and OT environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate cyber risks in industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and corporate networks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis of critical infrastructure and provide actionable remediation plans.
  • Support the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures tailored to both IT and OT domains.
  • Lead or participate in incident response and forensic analysis activities involving IT or OT systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g., NIS2, IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST).
  • Perform regular security audits and recommend security enhancements.
  • Evaluate and implement technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, EDR, NAC, and anomaly detection solutions in IT/OT environments.
  • Engage with third parties and suppliers to assess their cybersecurity posture, especially for OT-related integrations.
  • Provide training and awareness initiatives for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with hands-on exposure to both IT and OT systems.
  • Solid understanding of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC-UA, DNP3) and OT environments (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, RTUs).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, IEC 62443, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with security technologies such as IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Professional certifications are a plus (e.g., GICSP, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, IEC 62443 certifications).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
